National Approvals
Psychologists:
The Healthcare Training Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Healthcare Training Institute maintains responsibility for these programs and their contents.
Social
Workers:
The Healthcare Training Institute (HTI), provider #1073, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Healthcare Training Institute (HTI) maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 8/13/2023-8/13/2026.
Counselor & Marriage and Family Therapists:
The Healthcare Training Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6102. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Healthcare Training Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Addiction Counselors
NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals, Approval #97771/#679
Terminology Clarification: A CE credit is not the same as a CEU. Our course credits use the term CE. Psychologists are granted one credit per one instructional hour basis. However, a CEU, refers to 10 contact hours, and is not part of the current vernacular related to APA CE.

Other hourly limits for credits for publications, etc. remain in place.
